Danielle Lisbon

Danielle graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Laws.

 

Since her admission as a solicitor, Danielle has practised primarily in the areas of commercial law, occupational health and safety, industrial relations and employment law. She has experience with matters before the Fair Work Commission, the WA Industrial Relations Commission (“WAIRC”) and the WA Industrial Magistrates Court, and has assisted on matters in the Federal Court of Australia.

 

Prior to her admission as a solicitor, Danielle was the Associate to Senior Commissioner Kenner (now Chief Commissioner) in the WAIRC.

 

Danielle has experience representing and advising employees and employers in a range of employment law issues. This includes the termination of employment (including procedure, termination entitlements, unfair dismissal and general protections claims), award coverage and interpretation, drafting employment contracts and policies, conducting and advising on redundancy processes, human resources assistance, workplace investigations and drafting deeds of settlement and release.

 

Danielle also provides training to businesses on compliance with employment law.
