Paul is highly experienced in civil litigation, including contract disputes, regulatory issues, administrative law matters, matters involving legislative interpretation and contractual interpretation, negligence claims, product liability claims, insurance and risk management issues, transport and logistics matters, and building and construction disputes.



David Davidson
Solicitor
David is a highly experienced criminal trial lawyer, having appeared in countless jury trials over the past 25 years in the District and Supreme Court jurisdictions of Western Australia. David prides himself on his client-centred approach and his ability to build a strong rapport with clients and witnesses from all backgrounds.


Lisa Fernandez
Solicitor

Lisa has experience conducting and negotiating restraining order matters, having acted on behalf of applicants and respondents.
Lisa practices in all areas of traffic law including drink and drug driving, dangerous driving, license suspensions and applications for extraordinary licenses.



Jeandre Pieterse
Solicitor
Jeandre practices primarily in family law, with experience in both property and parenting matters. While she is experienced across all areas of family law, her practice has predominantly focused on property matters.
Jeandre is passionate about supporting clients through what is often a deeply challenging time in their lives. With focus on achieving practical and cost-effective outcomes, she approaches each matter with empathy, care, and a genuine commitment to making clients feel supported and safe.

Phuntsho Choden
Accounts Manager
Phuntsho has completed her Masters degree in Professional Accounting in 2025 and holds a Bachelors Degree with a Finance major.
Hailing from Bhutan the land of the thunder dragon.



Alana Boylson
Practice Manager
Alana joined the legal profession in 2021, bringing with her a strong foundation in administration and operational support. Prior to entering the legal industry, she spent eight years working across the Finance and Accounting and Engineering industries developing a versatile skill set and a sharp eye for process improvement.
As Practice Manager at Hammond Legal, Alana leads with professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to excellence. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring that both staff and clients experience a seamless, high-standard environment. Her leadership style is grounded in transparency, team wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
Outside of work, Alana enjoys spending time with her family and riding her recently adopted horse, an activity that reflects her calm, focused approach to life and leadership.

Nelly Yung
Legal Assistant & Paralegal
Nelly is a dedicated and detail-oriented paralegal with experience supporting criminal and family law matters. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Before joining Hammond Legal, Nelly worked in a boutique legal practice where she was responsible for drafting legal documents, reviewing disclosure material, and assisting with trial preparation. She brings a strong understanding of legal processes, excellent organisational skills, and a calm, client-focused approach to her work.
With a background that spans both legal and client service roles, Nelly is committed to supporting clients and legal teams with professionalism, empathy, and precision.



Vanessa Tay
Paralegal
Vanessa holds double degree in a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Criminology and Justice from Edith Cowan University. She pursued further education by completing a Master of Laws by research, with a focus on cyberbullying policies, which aligned with her interest in criminal and social justice.
She has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in September 2025.
Vanessa has worked at a boutique law firm, where she supported matters in criminal and family law. This role enhanced her understanding of legal processes and deepened her commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

Marie Hall
Paralegal
Marie is a law student at Murdoch University having worked as a paralegal in the WA legal profession for over 20 years.
As a paralegal Marie has had experience in personal injuries, family law and commercial law.
Marie has also worked in the areas of property management and local government.
Marie is a keen cyclist, West Coast Eagles fan and enjoys cooking.
