Mazvita graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics and International Relations.
Prior to her admission as a solicitor, Mazvita volunteered at the University of Notre Dame Family Law Clinic, a student-run and operated legal clinic providing legal advice and assistance to disadvantaged members of the Perth metro area. After graduating, Mazvita was employed at a boutique law firm specialising in family law.
Mazvita was born in Zimbabwe and speaks fluent Shona. Her background allows her to understand the significance of cultural differences. She is conscious of tailoring advice in a way that can be understood by her diverse range of clients.

Mazvita appears regularly in the Family Court of Western Australia and is a member of the Society of African Australian Lawyers. She also practices in Employment Law and has appeared as counsel at the Fair Work Commission.
